Do you like shopping? How many times in a week do you accompany your mother to go shopping? What do you buy when shopping? In daily life, people often buy or sell things or goods. In this kind of activity, we recognize the terms buying price, selling price, profit, and loss. Buying price is the amount of money people spend for buying things or goods; while, the selling price is the amount of money they offer their things or goods to others. In buying or offering their things or goods, people may get profit or loss. They get profit when the selling price is higher than the buying price. On the contrary, they get loss when the buying price is higher than the selling one.
